REX640 IEC 61850 Engineering Guide

For the IEC 61869-9 compliant sender SMVSENDER61869, the SMV PhsMeas data set is freely configurable, and thus it is initially created as an empty data set. The system engineer must define the contents of the PhsMeas data set in IEC 61850 Configuration data set editor tool, by adding the desired channels from the MU02 logical device. The SMV data set editing is done by double clicking the PhsMeas data set in the "Process Bus Communication" tab of the IEC 61850 Configuration tool.

The SMV data set content must strictly follow 61869-9 requirements, i.e. only adding signals from the AmpSv and VolSv DOs, in data attribute leaf level. Additionally, each configured SMV channel must contain measurement data attribute followed by corresponding quality data attribute of the same channel quality data attribute. PCM600 validates the SMV data set content, and does not accept writing illegal content to the relay. Configuring an illegal SMV data set is also indicated as "SMV warning" self supervision event by the relay, and the sending in this scenario is not activated. The maximum number of SMV channels supported for the sender is 24. In practice this means total 48 data attributes as each channel contains an instMag.i+q pair.

The relay supports numOfASDU=2, with sampleRate=4800 currently for the IEC 61869-9 compliant SMV sender.
