REX640 Engineering Manual

Configure Autosynchronization generates a partial configuration in Application Configuration and Parameter Setting and a complete GOOSE engineering for the function blocks ASGCSYN, ASNSCSYN and ASCGAPC. The remaining connections for voltage measurements and other inputs and outputs need to be handled manually in PCM600.

With reference to the example given in the Example case chapter, the following figures show the partial configuration generated by the tool in PCM600.

Figure 1 shows the Application Configuration view of the relay controlling NSCB1. Similar connections are also generated for the other relays. The connections for the function blocks shown in the figure should be completed next.

Figure 2 shows part of the Parameter Setting view of ASCGAPC of the relay controlling NSCB1. Similar settings are also made for ASCGAPC in other relays. The other settings for ASGCSYN, ASNSCSYN and ASCGAPC should be checked and modified, if needed.

Figure 3 shows the GOOSE data sets generated by the tool containing all the entries required to be exchanged among the relays for the autosynchronization process. No further user actions are required regarding the GOOSE engineering for the autosynchronization process. However, GOOSE data exchange for any other logic or scheme may be handled manually.
