Three steps must be completed to enable programmable LEDs in the relay’s HMI.

  1. Instantiate LED functions in application configuration and connect the OK and ALARM signals in application configuration.
  2. Configure LED description texts in Parameter Setting. Parameters are in IED Configuration > Configuration > Programmable LEDs.
  3. Clear all events elevated as alarms in HMI Event Filtering so that the HMI Home button LED can follow the programmable LED state instead of the alarm list.
