In case of configuration data loss or any other file system error that prevents the protection relay from working properly, the whole file system can be restored to the original factory state. All default settings and configuration files stored in the factory are restored. Only the administrator can restore the factory settings.

Select Main menu > Configuration > General > Factory setting and press .
Set the value with or and press .
Confirm by selecting Yes with or and press .

The protection relay restores the factory settings and restarts. Restoring takes 1...3 minutes. Confirmation of restoring the factory settings is shown on the display a few seconds, after which the relay restarts.

Note: Avoid the unnecessary restoring of factory settings, because all the parameter settings that are written earlier to the relay will be overwritten with the default values. During normal use, a sudden change of the settings can cause a protection function to trip.

Note: Restoring factory setting also moves relay configuration to factory default. End user must download the real end-user configuration to relay after the factory restore action.
