The primary equipment can be controlled via the LHMI with the Open and Close buttons when the protection relay is set to the local-control mode and accessing the control operations is authorized.

Note: The time between selecting the object and giving a control command is restricted by an adjustable time-out. When an object is selected, the control command has to be given within this time.
Note: With default configurations it is possible to control a breaker open even when the breaker is in an intermediate state.
