REX615 Operation Manual

The LHMI keypad on the left side of the protection relay contains four function keys with red LEDs. They can be freely configured both for operation and acknowledgement purposes to get acknowledgements of the executed actions associated with the buttons. The LEDs can also be independently configured to bring general indications or important alarms to the operator's attention.

The function keys can be used, for example, for quickly selecting or changing a setting group, selecting or operating equipment, indicating field contact status or indicating or acknowledging individual alarms.

Each function key has editable descriptions for the LED ON and OFF states.

  1. Log in as OPERATOR, ENGINEER or ADMINISTRATOR roles to use the function keys.
  2. Select Main Menu > Configuration > Function key text visibility and press .
  3. Change the visibility of function key texts on the LHMI with or .
    1. True: The first function key press activates the function key description view and the subsequent key presses change the state. The display returns to previous view 30 seconds after the last key press or when is pressed.
    2. False: The function key changes the state immediately.
  4. Press to confirm the selection.
