REX615 IEC 61850 Engineering Guide

  1. Select Plant Structure in the Project Explorer window.
  2. Right-click the IED node.
  3. Select IEC 61850 Configuration in context menu.
  4. Select Client-Server Communication in the drop-down box on the toolbar.

  5. Select the Data Sets tab.
  6. Right-click the area containing the data set names and select New to add a new data set.

  7. In the Create New Data Set dialog box, define the LN where to place the data set (accept preselected “LD0/LLN0”) and give the data set a unique name.

After creating the GOOSE data sets, define the data set entries (data attributes or data objects) for the data sets.
