The function can be enabled and disabled with the Ena. ARC channel setting. The corresponding parameter values are "True" or "False".
The operation of FSTADAGGIO1 is described by using a module diagram. All the modules in the diagram are explained in the next sections.
ARC_DETECTED
The ARC_DETECTED output signal will be set to "True", when there is an instant change in the light intensity from ARC channel input and is above the recorded background light. It remains "True" until the arc light persists plus 50 ms.
For faster operation of the binary output, select the preferred binary output in the Fast ARC BO Conn. setting using PST tool of PCM600.
ALARM
The ALARM output signal also referred as continuous ARC is set to "True", when ARC_DETECTED output is "True" for a duration as set in the Continuous ARC delay setting and it will be set False when ARC_DETECTED output is "False".
The ALARM can be connected to different application.
WARNING
The WARNING output refers to continuous light and is set to True when the FSTADAGGIO module receives actual light information from the ARC channel which is gradually increasing above the recorded background light and stays above the recorded background light for more than 6 seconds. It will be set to "False" when the actual light is less than or equal to recorded background light for more than 6 seconds or when the ARC_DETECTED output is set "True".
The WARNING can be connected to different application.
SENSOR_FLT
If a faulty ARC sensor is internally detected or if the connection to the ARC channel input is lost, the FSTADAGGIO module sets SENSOR_FLT output to "True" and it will be set to "False" when the sensor is connected back or replaced with a healthy sensor.
