Importing a project backup enables transferring project data between the based systems via different media, for instance in CD-ROM. The source and target computers do not have to be connected to the same network so the data can be transferred between two stand-alone computers. - On the File menu, click Open and select Manage Project to open the project management.
- Right-click Projects on my computer, and click Import to open the Import project dialog box.
- Browse the location and type the name for the imported file.
A new project is created containing all the data from the imported file.
