With the variables, connections can be represented within a page and across pages or worksheets.
  1. Right-click the function block signal or channel, and then click Connect.
  2. Connect to a variable.
    • Click New to add a new variable.
    • Click Existing Variable, and in the Variable list, select the variable and click Select.
      Tip: The Variable list can also be opened using the shortcut keys CTRL +SHIFT+V.
      Tip: A connection to an existing or a new variable can also be created by selecting the signals and pressing the shorcut keys CTRL+SHIFT+E or CTRL+SHIFT+N.
